Fiberglass Pool Builders in California

A fiberglass pool is a shell made in a factory and set into an excavated hole. Buyers choose from a manufacturer's range of pre-molded shapes and sizes, so a custom outline is not usually part of the deal.

The shell goes in quickly once the hole is ready, but the job still includes permits, plumbing, equipment and decking, so ask for a written schedule for the whole project. In California, pools are built under the C-53 swimming pool license, and you can look up any license at cslb.ca.gov. The builders below state fiberglass pool work on their own websites. Ask each one which manufacturer's shells they install, what the shell warranty covers and who handles warranty claims.
